Message from the East

Greetings Brethren,
This past weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Grand As- sembly of the Michigan Rainbow Girls, in
Alma. The weather was perfect, the chapel was filled with people, and the energy was palpa- ble. Christiana Akers from Berkley Assembly #46, located in our own Temple, was Installed as Grand Worthy Advi-
sor. Good luck and con- gratulations, Christiana, may your year turn out to be everything you hope it will!
As we continue this year in our own Lodge, I’m excited to see new peti- tions coming to be
read. At the same time, I want to also mention that our recent Fellow- ship nights have pro- duced quite a crowd! I encourage all of you to invite interested non- Masons to come with you to a Fellowship night and get to know the other members of the Lodge. Remember, sign- ers of petitions are re- sponsible for the peti- tioners; get to know in- terested non-Masons before handing out peti-
tions. We owe it to our- selves to take time to become familiar with the future members of our Lodge. When we invest in our newest members, they will return the favor, and our future will be bright.

Message From the West

Brothers,

Its great to be a Mason. We have had a great start to this year. The lodge has gained some new members that have shown a lot of interest, adding to our already active brotherhood. I have tried to work hard on developing the lodges new web site. I know we can not please everyone but i hope to put a good face on and provide information with easy access.  Many of you have been great in providing ideas and content for this site and we all appreciate it. We have also started practicing our degree work. This has been great for me and many others in perfecting our craft. The help and advice from current officers and many past masters is invaluable and should be taken advantage of.  This can only make us better and allow us to put on better and better degrees. So, come out and get involved.

Message From the South

Brethren,
Summer is in full swing, people are going places and doing things. We are also doing things here at the lodge. There are dinners and picnics, there is degree work and fellowship.
The Community Service
group led by Brother Brian Mingus is doing some wonderful work in the Berkley area as is WB Jerry Steinard who is coordinating and work- ing hard developing our Child ID programs.
WB Jerry Weiner, WB Bob Rowland and MWB Paul Cross are busy
planning social events and fundraisers for the lodge.
All we are missing right now is you brother!
